ERASMUS+ DAILY ACTIVITY PROGRAM FEBRUARY 4/2026

Activity Theme: STEM and Applied Workshop Activities
Target Group: Teachers participating in the Erasmus+ project
Total Duration: Approximately 3 hours

1. Artificial Intelligence, Algorithm and Robotics Coding Activity

Aim
The aim of this activity is to introduce teachers to the use of artificial intelligence, algorithmic thinking, block-based coding, and educational robotics in education. It also aims to promote the sharing of innovative teaching practices among teachers from different countries.

Activity Process

Introduction
Participants are introduced to the concept of an algorithm. The instructor explains that an algorithm is a sequence of steps used to solve a problem and provides examples from daily life.

Algorithm and Block Coding Demonstration
The logic of block-based programming is introduced. Participants observe how coding blocks are combined to create commands and why the order of instructions is important.

Photon Robot Coding Activity
Teachers work in small groups using the Photon Robot coding application. They create simple algorithms to control the robot and program it to follow a specific path.

Evaluation
Participants share their experiences and discuss how robotics activities can be integrated into their own classrooms.

2. Candle Making Workshop

Aim
The aim of this workshop is to provide participants with an opportunity to experience creative production processes, improve their practical skills, and learn about traditional craft activities from different cultures.

Activity Process

Introduction
Materials used in candle making are introduced, including paraffin wax, wicks, colors, and fragrances.

Practical Activity
Participants create their own candles. Melted wax is poured into molds, colors and scents are added, and the wick is placed properly.

Evaluation
Participants present their candles and briefly reflect on the workshop experience.

3. Chemistry Laboratory Activity

Aim
The aim of this activity is to demonstrate how chemistry laboratory experiments can support experiential learning in education and to highlight the importance of STEM-based teaching approaches.

Activity Process

Laboratory Introduction
Participants are introduced to laboratory safety rules and basic equipment used during the experiments.

Experiment Activity
Participants perform simple experiments to observe chemical reactions. During the experiment, the instructor explains the causes and results of the reactions.

Evaluation
The results of the experiments are discussed and participants reflect on how laboratory activities enhance student learning.
